SYNOPSIS

t's 1967, Dahlia rests in country Victoria’s windswept ranges, a gold mining town shaped by toil and tradition. When townsfolk begin to disappear and natural phenomena riddle the land, Alice and her best friend Jasper grapple with visions of a force beneath Dahlia itself - supernatural and ancient.

Featuring an entirely original musical score composed, performed and recorded by Curtis Waterman.

Rooted in folklore and shaped by the harsh realities of life on a dying frontier, Boundless Plains is a mysterious and unsettling exploration of isolation and belonging. Inspired by the philosophy of the Romantics, it is a haunting Australian Gothic about man’s inferiority, friendship, and the cost of ignoring what lies just beneath the surface.
